Kings of Leon
Coming as it did on the heels of 2003’s rowdy Youth and Young Manhood and 2005’s brawny Aha Shake Heartbreak, the expansive Because of The Times was indeed a pivotal and game-changing album for Kings of Leon. It led the band — consisting of Tennessee-bred brothers Caleb, Nathan, and Jared, and their cousin Matthew — to astonishing success around the world. They sold out New York City’s Radio City Hall and London’s O2 Arena, as well as headlining the legendary Glastonbury and Oxegen Festivals. Their latest album, Only By the Night, entered the UK Album Charts at #1 and eventually became UK’s third biggest selling album of 2008.
